Design
The obverse features the traditional effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, together with the year of issue and the $100 denomination.
The reverse showcases the Royal Bluebell (Wahlenbergia gloriosa), Tasmania’s official floral emblem, in a detailed and elegant design. The floral emblem is accompanied by the coin’s face value and inscriptions identifying the series.

The Floral Emblems of Australia series was produced over nine years from 1995 to 2003, with each coin celebrating one of Australia’s state or territory floral emblems.
